Our business line consists entirely of built-to-order manufacturing using direct blow molding.
We are a plastic molding manufacturer that was established in 1970. Our company specializes in built-to-order manufacturing of auto parts, industrial machinery parts, and household appliance parts. We have an integrated production system. We offer seamless handling from mold shape proposals during the development phase to die-making, preparation of processing machines and jigs, mass production of moldings, and assembly. This system has allowed us to meet a wide range of customer needs, and expand the scope of our business. We do business with major domestic Japanese manufacturers, including Honda Motor, Mazda Motor, Kubota, Yanmar, Kobelco Construction Machinery, and Hitachi Construction Machinery. Our plant is equipped with 11 units of molding machines with extrusion screws from 65 to 95 mm, which enables extrusion of up to 8 kg if necessary.
[Company strength] It has been 45 years since we set up a plant in Osaka. Our company has been committed to quality enhancement in the blow molding field. Our customers now let us help them in product development efforts in various fields. This is because of the good track record, trust, and proven quality control capability that we have acquired through our long years of auto parts manufacturing. Our plant has 11 molding machines with various diameters of extrusion screws (65 to 95 mm). These machines can operate 24 hours a day for molding up to 8 kg. We also hire new graduates every year to keep the company young (the average age is 27), and we are very focused on skill transfer in our day-to-day operations. [Business description] Our company is a plastic molding manufacturer that specializes in built-to-order manufacturing of auto parts, industrial machinery parts, and household appliance parts. We can suggest shapes for molding during the development phase. We manufacture dies, processing machines and jigs, mass-produce molded products, and assemble the finished products under a seamless integrated production system. [Industry] Plastic blow molding manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] The long moldings (such as bellows hoses) we have made so far have been 1.5 to 2.0 meters long. We have long specialized in industrial parts, so we excel at cutting and machining, and irregular shapes (such as ducts and tanks). We are a blow molding manufacturer. We strive to reduce transport costs by carrying out assembly for our own molded products, thereby delivering high-value products. We can also handle direct blow molding with ABS resin. [Representative's message] Auto parts accounted for 90% of our revenue until a few years ago, but we suffered a huge impact from the Lehman Brothers collapse and the Great East Japan Earthquake. We learned a lesson from this experience, and we are trying to balance our sales composition by acquiring sales from multiple industries. Our current focus is on construction and agricultural machinery parts and nursing care equipment, with a common theme of high-mix low-volume production. Manufacturing on the shop floor requires labor, but we will overcome our challenges by making use of our employees’ youth to make our company a good, comfortable workplace. We accept trainees from Shandong Province, China every year. We hope to set up a plant there, by working together with the excellent people who have finished our program and returned home. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We actively participate in exhibitions such as the New Value Creation Exhibition to meet potential customers for market cultivation. We also established a sales department within the organization in 2009, and started to conduct sales activities for new and existing customers. We also actively hire non-Japanese engineers who have high expertise. The current era requires us to open up our office to new talent from an international perspective. Such global personnel exchange raises awareness among our employees, and has created an environment in which employees develop through friendly competition. [Market share/Ranking] Our auto parts are mainly intended for Honda. Most Honda cars assembled in Japan include our molded parts.
