Our particular area of expertise is analysis and design related to earthquake resistance and the interaction between the ground and a structure and between a fluid and a structure. We provide engineering services involving not only the structural analysis but also consulting work. We actively develop new technologies and products while making effective use of the structural technology and advanced computer-based analysis technology nurtured over time. Our recently developed analysis technology related to the fiber orientation in fiber-reinforced concrete is expected to lead to an efficient way of improving performance as well as reduce the cost of new product development.

[Industry] Civil engineering and construction services (large classification L, middle classification 74) [Strength of products/technologies] 1) Commitment to BIM/CIM We plan to evolve our business using building information modeling (BIM) and construction information modeling (CIM). The process is as follows. Point group data is converted into a CAD model; the CAD model is used for a numerical analysis (structural analysis, fluid analysis) model; and the analysis results are fed back to the BIM/CIM, thus ensuring integral management. 2) Commitment to a more comfortable indoor environment Our target is to achieve a comfortable indoor environment and energy conservation through the use of various sensors, fluid simulation, and AI. We will start with the indoor environment of a single building and progress to the local community. 3) Commitment to product development from flow analysis The development of an analysis method that enables quantitative evaluation of the fiber orientation in fiber-reinforced concrete using our flow analysis technology is under way (patent pending). Using the flow analysis for product development enables the features and detailed properties of existing fiber-reinforced concrete products to be grasped by simulation. This, in turn, leads to the proposal of an efficient method of improving products. Furthermore, we make a simulation-based prediction beforehand and conduct minimal verification tests when developing new products. We can thus help reduce development costs and improve product competitiveness in the market. We have been providing engineering services for about a decade in the field of civil engineering and building design. We are now actively creating new value using not only the conventional civil engineering and building design technology services but also IT technology at a time when AI and data utilization are rapidly advancing. We are striving to create a better society by improving the efficiency of Monozukuri or manufacturing using advanced analysis technology, and ultimately to create comfortable indoor environments by using BIM/CIM and establishing environmental analysis technology, etc. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We are putting the finishing touches on our analysis technology to improve the precision for simulating the fiber orientation in fiber-reinforced concrete by developing computer software for the improved development of fiber-reinforced concrete products. We are determined to provide engineering services to fiber concrete product manufacturers and construction companies. We have been working on the indoor environment analysis technology through joint research with Tianjin University in China. We have also been working with engineers of New Era Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Tianjin), a Chinese affiliate company, on data conversion to CAD, creation of analysis models, and feedback of analysis results to IM/CIM. We have thus set up an integrated management framework. We have also set up a framework that enables both Chinese and Japanese development engineers to deal with flow analysis technology. We can communicate with overseas customers in English and Chinese.
