    We are a manufacturer of physicochemical glass instruments and devices. We have been accumulating experience and know-how since our establishment in 1950. We make use of our experience and know-how to meet various customer needs for standard to customized products. We have provided our hyper cryogenic reaction vessels and devices made of glass to all of the top 10 companies in both the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in Japan. We have a total of 11 sales sites in Japan, including Tokyo and Osaka. We are rapidly establishing an in-house system for the overseas market by installing sites with full-scale expansion in mind.

    • Reaction vessels and devices

      Reaction vessels and devices

      [Product description] Our company raises the effectiveness of heat exchange by using reaction vessels with our independently developed medium baffle. We also provide Blue Label PRO Mixing, which includes an agitator that enables the selection of an optimal agitation blade for each use. Our design staff can design dedicated frames and create scaled-up manufacturing tanks. We can also propose main body product types featuring manual or electrical ascending/descending. Laboratory size product features (1) The product lineup of consists of double-tube and triple-tube products from 300 ml to 6 l. (2) A flush valve is used to minimize dead space. This structure improves agitation efficiency and prevents solids from plugging. (3) Wetted parts are made of glass and PTFE for excellent corrosion resistance. (4) The operating temperature can be set in a range from -110 to 230 ºC (depending on the circulator capacity). The temperature can be controlled from ultra-low to high (depending on the circulator capacity). (5) A medium baffle is built in to enable use without regard for temperature variation in the jacket. (6) Strong resistance against thermal shock (double-tube: Δ = 110 °C; triple-tube: Δ = 60 °C) enables use even at drastic temperature changes. (7) The thin jacket reduces the necessary amount of medium oil compared to competitors' products and reduces the time required to reach the set temperature. (8) The triple-tube type has a vacuum jacket to prevent radiant heat and condensation during operation at a negative temperature. (9) Our design staff propose pertinent equipment meeting customer requirements. Plant size product features (1) The maximum capacity is 100 l for the double-tube type and 60 l for the triple-tube type. (2) A flush valve is used to minimize dead space. This structure improves agitation efficiency and prevents solids from plugging. (3) Wetted parts are made of glass and PTFE for excellent corrosion resistance. (4) The operating temperature can be set in a range from -110 to 230 ºC (depending on the circulator capacity). The temperature can be controlled from ultra-low to high (depending on the circulator capacity).       [Product description] Our devices separate solids deposited after reaction without transfer. This is applied to uses including the removal of impurities and residues after dissolution, crystal filtration and separation after crystallization, and solid-liquid reaction and solid cleaning.       Glass-made hyper cryogenic reactor

      [Product description] Our reaction tanks for liquid-phase reactions are highly universal units. They are used for reaction, synthesis, and bio-reaction. Great features of our tanks are provided below. (1) Measures for energy conservation and efficiency Installing a medium baffle in the heating medium (cooling and heating) circulation tank greatly improves the heat transfer coefficient (about tripled in our experiments). (2) Measures against heat transfer loss and for efficiency (1) A jacket was prepared for the exterior and the tank interior was made high-vacuum (5 × 0.0000001 mmHg) to minimize heat loss. (3) Measures against heat transfer loss and for efficiency (2) The interior of the tank is silver-plated to block light and improve the efficiency greatly. This was done at the request of a customer for measures against heat loss. We can prepare 10 to 50 mm wide slits for internal observation. [Market share/Ranking] Our actual results regarding glass-made hyper cryogenic reaction vessels and devices include the following. (1) Largest volume of shipments in Japan. (2) Supply to all of the top 10 chemical manufacturers in Japan. (3) Supply to all of the top 10 pharmaceutical manufacturers in Japan.       [Product description] This is a distillation column used to separate substances that are not very different in terms of their boiling points. This is optimal for generating strongly corrosive substances. The plate column structure enables distillation with more secure gas-liquid contact. Main features! (1) It is easy to acquire scale-up data. We will propose a system. (2) We can manufacture products up to 200A. Large Oldershaw distillers are also available. (3) We select a reflux condenser suitable for the volume of processing to support various scales. [Authorization/Certification] ISO 14001:2004; ISO 9001:2008.       [Product description] This is a distillation column used to separate substances that are not very different in terms of their boiling points. This is optimal for substances with high surface tension and distillation in a high vacuum. This column is filled with irregular or regular fillers for use. The irregular fillers are made of borosilicate glass and have excellent corrosion resistance and chemical resistance. The regular fillers are made of metals or plastics that enable volume processing and the acquisition of high-reliability data. Main features! (1) The design staff calculate the processing and propose a set of devices, including accessory equipment. (2) We can manufacture and implement large filling-type distillers up to 450A.     • Molecular distiller (evaporator)

      [Product description] Main features! (1) The evaporator has excellent corrosion resistance and chemical resistance because it is made of borosilicate glass. (2) High-accuracy tubes are adopted to uniformly form thin films and improve evaporation efficiency. (3) The evaporator allows internal observation because it is made of borosilicate glass. (4) No grease is used, so there is no need to worry about grease contamination. (5) The evaporator has a condenser inside. The condenser immediately condenses steam from the evaporation surface to reduce the time of staying on the heating surface. (6) We can manufacture evaporators from 60A to 150A and also support large devices. (7) We create complete corrosion-resistant models for wetted and gas contact parts, which is done using borosilicate glass and PTFE.       [Product description] Our evaporator is suitable for the treatment of heat-sensitive samples, such as vitamins, hormones, enzymes, and aromatic substances. We can collect and reuse recyclable components from used solvents and waste liquids. Our thin-film evaporator was designed for volume processing of high-viscosity liquids in a vacuum. High-accuracy tubes are used to uniformly form thin films.

We can even propose equipment combined from two glass materials on request. Another of our advantages is our design and development team. It consists of more than 30 people ready for consultations about the design and development of glass products and also glass devices and processes.     [Strength of products/technologies]
    Our unique triple-tube reaction vessel with medium baffle is globally unparalleled. It has both visibility in a hyper cryogenic area and high heat exchange efficiency (three times that of our conventional products). This vessel enables efficient and accurate temperature control in a wide temperature range (-120 ºC to 250 ºC). It also enables a great reduction of the batch schedule including preparation (40% down from our conventional products). We can manufacture rotary evaporators as production equipment. These range from 10 L to 200 L, which is the world's largest capacity.

We have an overseas sales department at the Kumamoto head office for marketing outside Japan. It assists overseas group companies with activities and support for overseas users. Our support is available in English and Korean. We are planning to employ more global resources in future.
