We sell metal surface treatment and WPC treatment machines.

Our mainline businesses are selling and repairing blasting machines, developing and selling various abrasive materials, and consignment WPC and PIP treatment. We also manufacture and sell PIP natural catalyst products. We do not monopolize our unique WPC treatment for precision shot peening. We license our rights to diffuse the technology and strengthen the competitiveness of domestic Japanese companies. This is a thermal treatment technology in which metal surfaces are bombarded at high speed with particles suitable for the required purpose, which are mixed into compressed gas. This treatment is performed to strengthen the surfaces of metal products. It can improve the strength, life, and functionality of machine parts, cutting tools, and molds in a short period of time.

[Company strength]
Our advantage is in our unique technologies (patented), such as WPC treatment and metal surface modification. We are a small company but we have many employees who are well versed in various aspects of processing. This includes thermal and surface treatment of metals, and also machine structures and mechanisms. We have established a track record and acquired know-how by solving user issues in various fields. Our company does not use its technologies monopolistically or exclusively. We license our intellectual property rights in order to widely diffuse our technologies. We hope to develop and extend WPC treatment and our other technologies to new fields as secret strategic technologies to support Japan’s Monozukuri craftsmanship.

Our company sells and repairs blasting machines, and develops and sells various abrasive materials. We conduct WPC and PIP treatment on consignment, and manufacture and sell natural catalyst PIP. We also license our intellectual property.

[Strength of products/technologies]
WPC treatment is a surface modification technology in which a metal surface is bombarded at high speed by a jet of particles mixed into a compressed gas. Micro dimples are then formed on the surface of the material. This technology also raises the surface hardness and toughness of metal products. WPC is an acronym of Wonder Process Craft, which denotes a mysterious and surprising processing technology, because great achievements can be made by using a simple blasting machine. This technology is used in a wide range of fields including molds, machine parts, cutting tools, and many others. This is because various particles are used according to the purpose of processing, such as improving the abrasion resistance and adhesive strength of plating or coating. Our single-piece machining enables quick turnarounds and low costs. We believe that you can adopt this treatment in many kinds of Monozukuri craftsmanship. This is because it does not change the product shape or dimensions and allows for masking where treatment is unnecessary.

[Representative's message]
Our company started to develop WPC treatment technology in 1978 and acquired a basic patent. WPC treatment attracted attention later on, when it was adopted by a major automobile manufacturer, and has been supporting Japan's Monozukuri craftsmanship ever since. There are more than 100 techniques of WPC treatment depending on the purpose and use of a metal product. This treatment can extend the service lives of metal products, and also improve slidability, form lubrication coating films, and prevent corrosion at low cost. We are developing various technologies derived from or applying WPC treatment. Our company now has more than about 40 patents. We will continue to improve WPC treatment to evolve it as secret strategic technology of Japan’s Monozukuri craftsmanship in order to be of some assistance to you.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We have Chinese- and English-speaking staff within the company. We exhibit our products at an overseas exhibition about once a year. We also have a joint venture in Taiwan and are preparing a system capable of meeting needs for overseas expansion.

[Market share/Ranking]
A metal surface is bombarded with a jet of 0.02- to 0.15-mm diameter particles at a speed of 100 to 200 m per second. This quickly heats and cools the surface, and micro dimples are formed. The market share of our WPC treatment is about 100%. As a point of reference, shot peening uses 0.6- to 0.8-mm diameter particles to impart compressive residual stress to the surface of machine parts and molds. This is why shot peening is positioned as surface modification technology that differs from WPC treatment.
