[Business description]
We are a Tier 1 manufacturer of parts for automotive suspensions, operation members, steering columns, engines, and transmissions. We develop and manufacture products based on plasticity processing (pressing), which is our core technology, as well as welding, machining, and assembly and coating. We have five bases in Japan and another five in four countries overseas.

[Industry]
Automobile and industrial vehicle parts manufacturing

[Strength of products/technologies]
We can offer system development and make proposals. This is done through 3D design with CATIA and I-DEAS, analysis using systems such as NASTRAN, and testing with a road simulator or other test instruments.
We can make proposals to achieve high-quality, low-cost products. Our production covers the entire process of manufacturing. This extends from preliminary development and product development (design, analysis, testing), to mass production preparation (design, making molds and jigs), to mass production and quality assurance.
We maintain quality throughout our global network. This is done by having our factories in Japan set the standards to transfer technology, management, and know-how to our factories in Thailand, China, the USA, and Mexico.
We manufacture our own molds as well as welding and assembly jigs. This has further promoted our efforts to improve our Monozukuri craftsmanship strength, leading to even more sophisticated pressing and welding technology. We develop advanced technology through industry-university-government collaboration with the help of the Strategic Core Technology Advancement Program to achieve unrivaled competence in manufacturing.

[Representative's message]
We started manufacturing operations in our factory in Mexico in 2013, launched a joint venture in India in 2014, and are planning to expand to Indonesia. These are in addition to our existing factories in the USA, Thailand, and China. We are committed to enhancing our business overseas and responding to customer needs with our seven bases in six different countries. This will be based on our technology gained in Japan over the years. We have five bases for the domestic Japanese market to further promote market expansion, and we are committed to our efforts to become a globally competent manufacturer.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We have first and second sales departments for the domestic market and an overseas business department to deal with inquiries from major companies. Staff members in the engineering and R&D departments are in charge of technical inquiries and visit customers as necessary. We have a Chinese staff member in the first sales department. We also promote the development of global human resources. We have established a manufacturing system capable of supporting overseas business. This has been done by setting factories in Japan as the base in terms of engineering, R&D, and management for our overseas factories to follow.
