We offer engineering, design, and manufacturing of large soundproof covers and mufflers.
Our mainline business is to manufacture large soundproof covers and mufflers by sheet metal working. We are capable of processing sheet metal from 0.8 to 19 mm in thickness. We perform steel sheet working and shape steel working. We have experience in handling a wide variety of items from SS and refractories to sound-absorbing materials, SUS, AL, and brass. We manufacture products based on calculations of pressure vessel strength, dangerous substance tanks, earthquake resistance strength, and acoustics. Our customers include major manufacturers. We have conducted joint R&D with Kagawa University.
[Company strength] Our first president was a boiler engineer at the foundation of Takuma Co., Ltd. This is why our history began with the business of assembling water tube boilers. Our products then changed to pressure vessels and cans, and we now make soundproof covers and mufflers by sheet metal working. We have been applying calculations of pressure vessel strength, dangerous substance tanks, earthquake resistance strength, and acoustics to product manufacturing through this business transition. Our current mainline business is manufacturing large soundproof covers and mufflers by sheet metal working. We possess technologies for steel sheet working and shape steel working for sheet metals from 0.8 to 19 mm in thickness. We consider that we have the capability to manufacture products. This is because we have had experience with various kinds of SS, refractories, sound-absorbing materials, SUS, AL, and brass accompanying the transition in the products we handle. [Business description] We design and manufacture soundproof covers, mufflers, and cans. We perform acoustics calculations and general strength calculations. [Industry] Metal product manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] We possess know-how based on our 30 years of experience in manufacturing soundproof covers and mufflers since 1983. This know-how will help us in manufacturing products. We now calculate, design, and manufacture easy-to-install soundproof covers. This is done by making use of our experience in our former business of manufacturing and installing boilers, pressure vessels, dangerous substance tanks, and cans. (Our product installation requires customer agreement because the appearance of products that are easy to install and remove can deteriorate without customer engineers experienced in field installation.) [Representative's message] We are now mainly engaged in a niche business and we excel at manufacturing large soundproof covers. We have a small labor force, so we are not actively developing new sales channels. We sincerely commit ourselves to work that has been introduced or ordered. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We conduct direct transactions with major companies, despite our small labor force. We are ready to take on new business if our company structure is acceptable. We do not currently have overseas expansion in mind because there is no customer demand outside Japan. We have obtained all of our customers through introductions. This is probably because there are not many companies capable of sheet metal working for such large-size can production. There are probably few SMEs like us who can do everything from engineering to design and manufacturing. However, our business began with structural calculations for pressure vessels and cans, so we do not feel out of place. [Market share/Ranking] We have a share of about 10% of the market for soundproof covers for power generators.
