Our 1600-ton transfer servo press provides a variety of press processing.
We apply our sheet metal press processing technology to commercialization of engine and transmission parts for automobiles. We focus on process transformation to cold forging and structural transformation of assembly parts, from the viewpoints of cost and weight reduction in development. We are also striving to develop new technologies and products using CAE.
[Company strength] We develop and produce cost- and weight-reduced press parts including casting/forging parts and die-casting parts by transforming to the cold forging process while using sheet metal press machines. In recent years our company has been selected as a private enterprise under a supporting project upgrading strategic basic technology. We strive to develop new products that are scientifically supported based on cooperation between industry and university to expand an advanced manufacturing. Moreover, we promote provision of new products to customers by optimizing our part production process via collaboration among industries. [Business description] We mainly manufacture automobile engine and transmission parts. Our sheet metal pressing technology provides a variety of press processing with from 60-ton small pressing to 2000-ton transfer servo pressing. In addition, we have a seamless production system that covers from development of new technologies/products to manufacturing, including mold design making, pressing, welding and assembly, machining, and painting. [Industry] Manufacturing of automobiles/automobile accessories [Strength of products/technologies] We are enhancing our technological development abilities to achieve "a cost reduction of 30%" in our market price to enhance our price competitiveness. Our new technologies and products using press processing are supporting these efforts. In order to respond to recent societal needs such as environmental friendliness and energy saving, we are concurrently attempting "new manufacturing that is only possible in Japan" with our improved technological capability including lightweight products with environmental friendliness. With an eye toward overseas expansion, we target automobile manufacturers with overseas assembly plants in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand. We will foster local partners and help them to improve their productivity through collaboration with local automobile part manufacturers and by offering our press process technology of engine/transmission parts. Based on this, we will strengthen promotional activities in public relations, especially in the market of next-generation automobile parts, in order to receive new orders. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We place an emphasis on job security and assign young engineers onto the front line of manufacturing activities in global expansion. Our engineers will acquire leadership, and those experienced personnel will help strengthen our R&D capability. We will also further promote overseas activities. We will use our overseas marketing base to increase new orders for our products. Currently we are providing technical support to potential local partners. We are also in discussion with Daihatsu Motor and Mitsubishi Motor Corporation and are likely to receive orders from them on the conditions that we provide technical support to those local partners.
